Scripture Union || Chris Helm & Jack Joynson || Jeremiah 29:1-14

Have you ever tried to tie your shoe with one hand tied behind your back? Or if you’ve ever broken your arm, or leg, you know how frustrating it can be to suddenly have restrictions on what you can do.
For our Mission Partners at Scripture Union, and the chaplains they support, this is exactly what their mission is like. Being invited into secular environments, unable to directly talk about Jesus, but still bringing the hope and peace that he offers.

The book of Acts follows his journey most closely, and today we’re picking up our long running series “The Church on Mission”, which we started back in 2018!
It’s a tough time for Paul, facing criminal charges in a Roman court. Reading through this courtroom drama, we’ll pick up some tips from Paul on responding to critics, while still being faithful to Jesus.
