God's story is woven through time, spanning generations and generations, culminating in the birth of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit and a human mother - Mary. Mary and her cousin Elizabeth were entrusted with key parts of God's plan of redemption, and they fell to their knees in worship of God, trusting him because of the way he had worked in the lives of their people for so long. We as followers of Jesus are part of God's story too - will you trust him in the same way Mary did?

On our 154th Anniversary, we give thanks to God for the life and ministry of St John's. But what would have happened if 154 years ago, the founders of St John's said "Lock it in!" and kept everything exactly the same? Or if, when laying the foundation stone, they said "Great! Job done." and didn't complete the building?
