Easter Sunday 2022 || Matthew 28:1-20

Humans believed that the Sun revolved around the Earth for thousands of years. Seeing things from only our own fixed perspective led us to assume that we were at the centre of everything. Copernicus, when he put forward the theory that the Earth revolved around the Sun - a huge change in focus, and one that wasn't widely accepted for another century.
Easter Sunday presents another paradigm shift, one where God himself came to Earth and served as sacrifice for the entire world. 
This Easter, Tim presents challenges with the facts, the alternatives and the meaning of the resurrection of Jesus.

Good Friday 2022 || Matthew 27

There's been a huge amount of upheaval in the last two years, through the pandemic, but at the end of the day, the human heart hasn't changed much since Jesus' death and resurrection 2000 years ago. 
We all present ourselves to others as slightly better than what we actually are. We try and smooth out the internal wrinkles that we all have.
God though, knows us intimately. He knows and sees all our wrinkles, our imperfections. But God still seeks us out, knows us, and loves us.
There's no point hiding from God, or pretending to have it all together when we talk to God. So while we might present ourselves in a way that hides some of those stuff ups to others, we can be completely open and honest with God.

Searching for Sheep || The Good Shepherd || Ezekiel 34

Ezekiel 34 shows another example of human shepherds turning bad. But in this passage, we see God (who promises to send a Good Shepherd we know to be Jesus) also turn his attention to the flock, and those sheep who use and abuse other sheep.
