Where is God when we’re on autopilot? By the end of this service, I hope you’ll be equipped to think about your routine activities, and how you might leverage your routines to help you to show more thankfulness, to ground your days in Jesus, and to ultimately love God more.

Where is God in Work & Study? || God in the Everyday || Genesis 2:4-15

Going through our daily lives, as we work, study, rest, as we disagree and face conflicts, as we go through hard times, as we interact with our natural world – God is with us in all these situations. We're continuing our “God in the Everyday” series.
The creation story reveals God as someone who creates and puts energy and time into his creation. Work isn't just paid - it's any purposeful activity involving mental, emotional or physical energy. Whether it's paid work or not is beside the point. God is our ultimate boss, and we can use the jobs that we do – paid and unpaid – to be generous towards others, redeeming work through good use of power. Work is important and good- but also broken and corrupted.

Monday Aug 08, 2022
Going through our daily lives, as we work, study, rest, as we disagree and face conflicts, as we go through hard times, as we interact with our natural world – God is with us in all these situations. Today we begin a new series – “God in the everyday”. We’ll be spending the next five weeks exploring how God is present in our lives through every season, and how following Jesus isn’t isolated to being at church on Sundays. How we live and look at our world needs to be done through the lens of Jesus’s life, death and resurrection.
Today Joel begins our series looking at how God is with us through the hardest of times- and why God even lets suffering in our world continue.

Don’t stop Forgiving || Jesus and Relationships || Matthew 18:21-35
Monday Aug 01, 2022
Monday Aug 01, 2022
As Christians, we believe that God designed us to live a certain way – primarily living to love God, and love other people. Believe it or not though, we don’t always do that very well. The core message of Christianity though, is that God – through the life death and resurrection of Jesus – has forgiven us. So as forgiven people, we should be extending that gift of forgiveness.
Today, Kirk continues our series on Jesus and Relationships, and the extraordinary forgiveness that we’ve received, as well as the extraordinary call to extend that grace to others.
